About the Client

Art + Science goes far beyond a great haircut. They work to empower their stylists, clients and passers-by through education, fundraising, events and leading by example in the spirit of social good.

The Project

In time, each of the Art + Science locations will be getting their own makeover, but their flagship location in Chicago's Wicker Park was the first to execute the new brand throughout. By working with the architect and the salon’s creative directors, we helped them incorporate the new brand into the space. While the remodeling was in progress, the print and collateral pieces were being designed and produced.

Production Details

Business Cards:

2-color printing with clear foil stamping on front side printed on Mohawk Via: Smooth, Warm White, 130lb. cover

Gift Certificate Set:

2-color printing with clear foil stamping on front side printed on Mohawk Via: Smooth, Warm White, 130lb. cover with die-cut half moons and business card placement slit. Black rubber bands were sourced and included in the design to keep the gift card, loaction/services card and business card secure. A custom die-cut envelope and custom diamond-shaped sticker were used to contain and enclose the set.

Interior & Exterior Vinyl:

Frosted, semi-transparent vinyl was applied to the storefront windows and interior glass separators. Vinyl banners were printed and installed on exisiting wall mount hardware.

All print pieces printed at Graphic Arts Studio. Vinyl was printed and installed by Colorphonic, Inc. Photography assistance from Kyle LaMere. This was a project worked on and completed at Firebelly Design.
