The ways in which we listen to music and movies have changed entirely in the last 10 years. Audio is a larger part of our lives and, as we've placed greater value on it, we've developed means to listen nearly every moment of the day. We bring it with us on the road, on the train, and around our homes. It follows us now and doesn't require us to stop to enjoy it.
While this has changed, however, we still listen through speakers and headphones based on decades-old architectures. ZeroThree is a personal project that explores what is possible if we design based on how we listen now, not on how we've listened before...if we design for audio on our own terms.
